In the 1980s, the decade of PC, the introduction of Apple Computers and the Macintosh Operating system, DOS and several others spawned the PC industry and created the environment for the explosion of the Internet in the 1990s. Technology begat technology. Some of the great innovations of the Internet could drive the next human advancement, “remote everything”. Every system and every service could be run or maintained or controlled using the internet as we currently know it or some mutation of that as a gateway to them. Currently several services are being run on the Internet, there are Technologies to remotely administer network resources, collaborate on projects, deliver projects, switch machines, deliver educational resources, deliver medical services and the grid computing project of IBM is very much on course with its implications on computing and technologies. There are also remote technical support services. The concept of technical support services has shifted from a telephone based solution to a web based solution with voice over data technology as well as instant messengers playing a great role in deployment and service delivery. But we could do better and achieve more if we could allow the idea of human resources as a utility! Encourage functional delivery of text to voice systems, invigorate Web Based Education and enhance the concept of the Ubiquitous Internet. A graphically enhance next generation (IP) solution will in no small measure contribute to this whole concept, and that almost already exists

The concept of a human being as a utility will attract the ire of many, but it not be so, rather the world should see it as the beginning of a new phase in our evolution and it will mean well for those who have the capability and willingness to offer more, more like the current hourly rated regime that many organizations run, but better. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. A farmer in a Third developing country may advertise his cash crop directly from his farm house and some dealers in the most developed corner of the world can bid for and even purchase the crop! The possibilities are as exciting as they are endless.
